RegTech Capital Markets 2018: Ready for launch – are you on board?

Everywhere we turn these days, we find new opportunities to explore what RegTech is all about. New training courses, associations and of course conferences abound.

With so much momentum now behind the RegTech agenda, the market needs to be on the same page about standards, collaboration and technological capabilities.

This is why we are so pleased to announce that registrations for our third RegTech Capital Markets Conference on 7 March 2018 have topped 300 attendees from over 65 investment firms, regulators and standards bodies. This is set to be the best RegTech event of 2018 and with this level of senior attendance you really don’t want to be missing out.

Perhaps that’s why we have now SOLD OUT of exhibitor stand spaces, that’s right, all 18 exhibitor stand slots have already been taken. You can come mix with leading RegTech providers like Govenor, Hitachi, Kaizen, Lysis, Synecron and Volante Technologies to get their view of the market and how you can get the right RegTech answers to the most difficult challenges, or simply pick their brains on state of the market. Check out the full list here.

The aim of March’s event will be to see what firms, regulators and their suppliers have been doing about RegTech during the previous 12 months and to establish leading practices for RegTech.

JWG is busy preparing the all-star cast of participants including the BoE, ECB, FCA and other leading public-sector bodies who will be engaged in lively debate with experts from Barclays, Blackrock, BNY Mellon, Citi, Credit Agricole, Credit Suisse, Deutche Bank, ING, Santander, Societe Generale, TD Securities. See the full list of speakers here. We will have interactive voting on what the panels consider to be the top issues for senior management in 2018 and participants will have a chance to ask questions during the sessions and at the coffee breaks.

After five years, hundreds of articles from our analysts on and hundreds Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings on RegTech and regulatory implementation, we know this conference will push the boundaries of the typical conference chat.

JWG is neither a consultancy nor a law firm – it is a think-tank. All we do every day is underline the importance of working together and leveraging technology to best manage regulatory change. We decided to do this conference to bring together a community we know very well at a very important time.

This will be our 3rd large scale event. One of our biggest achievements last year was to host a top 10 global RegTech conference in February.  We brought together 250+ key decision-makers from leading regulators, financial institutions and systems-providers to discuss and promote collaboration in RegTech. Many of our attendees concluded a collaborative, technology-based approach was key to overcome the operational headaches of regulatory change.

Our network consists of all players in the FS industry, from global Tier 1 investment banks, to 5-man hedge fund hotels, to global regulatory bodies and technology firms. The range and seniority of participants as well as the cutting edge content is what differentiates our conference from others. With this in mind, we offer a fantastic variety of speakers and exhibitors who are flying over from every corner of the globe.

Whether it be hearing about leading global regulators’ priorities and vision for 2019, or learning about what leading investment banks have learned from MiFID II, this conference has something for everyone in the RegTech industry.  Have you made your plans to join us in London on 7 March?

Although we have sold out of exhibitor spaces, there is still time to buy a ticket, which can be purchased via this link: . Better still, if you are employed as a senior manager at an investment firm you get in for FREE.

We hope to see you there!
