Adam Schneider is a strategy consultant with over 40 years experience in financial services. Until this year Adam was a Partner at Oliver Wyman; prior to that Adam was a Managing Director at BlackRock; and before that a Partner at Deloitte Consulting. In all of these roles he led practice areas and worked with clients including buy-side firms, sell-side firms, insurers, banks and custodians in assignments including strategy support, improving regulatory compliance, cost management, customer service improvement, technology/operations improvement, and program implementation.
Adam focuses on the intersection of digital technology and financial services combining forward planning, technology expertise, business depth with the practical realities of ‘getting things done’.
Adam has directly supported industry thinking and research. He is on the Advisory Board for the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association; is an author and member of the Future of Finance Working Group at the Bretton Woods Committee; is supporting the Federal Reserve’s Alternative Reference Rates Committee as co-chair of a Working Group; and was a member of the Canadian Reference Rates Working Group. He is an acknowledged expert in the transition off LIBOR and assisted dozens of firms in that regard.
Adam has made numerous presentations and led white-paper discussions on industry topics at the Federal Reserve, the Bank for International Settlements, the Institute of International Bankers, the Investment Company Institute, the Institute of International Finance, SIFMA, and has been interviewed or presented at the Wall Street Journal, the NY Times, USA Today, Harvard, MIT, NYU Stern, Bloomberg, and CNBC.
