Adedayo “Bill” Banwo is legal counsel working with Tier 1 financial institutions and asset managers. Previously, he was counsel in the Office of General Counsel at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Washington, DC, and an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, where he focused on public and private securities offerings. Mr. Banwo is co-chair of the American Bar Association task force on financial engineering for economic development, which focuses on emerging markets, and a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
