7 June and your Board’s 2020 RegTech agenda – what you need to know!

With the April Brexit dialogues and holidays behind us JWG are delighted to be hosting the 4th annual instalment of the RegTech Capital Markets Conference on 7 June 2019 in London and we’d like to invite you to join us.

What are we up to now?

JWG have run 8 round tables, held 2 webinars and published 2 research reports this year alone and 5 quarters on since our last conference have researched a large number of new developments in a rapidly evolving RegTech marketplace.

We find that 10 years on from the G20’s commitment to an action plan that Capital Market’s agendas remain far too siloed. This means that all too often great technologists are befuddled by the baton passing between regulatory affairs, compliance, operations, data and technology.

It’s time to bring all the themes together – and what better way to do that than through a discussion about the boards’ agenda. By this we mean what is driving the regulators’ boards, the firms’ boards and the technology compaies’ boards to develop better RegTech capabilities for the Capital Markets in 2020.

Who will be there?

This will be our fourth RegTech conference to bring together the world’s largest financial institutions, public bodies and systems-providers for far more than your usual conference chat.

Dozens of organisations have already confirmed their attendance to hear thought leaders from both the regulatory and private sector. We are proud to have lots of new faces from the BoE, FCA, Deutsche Bundesbank as well as BlackRock, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, ING and State Street amongst the confirmed speakers. We are also excited to have lots of exciting tech providers like Apiax, Blueprint, MarkLogic and NICE Actimize, on stage and many others in the stands.

How is it different?

At JWG, we spend our days working with all parts of the industry to help regain control of regulatory change in a collaborative manner, so we have our fingers on the pulse of regulatory change. This conference is all about how to bring the regulator’s digital agenda in alignment with the key regulatory drivers for financial infrastructure change.

This year, we will cover the biggest new game changing developments in the course of a single day:

  • The regulators’ shift to a digital strategy and impact on firms’ agendas
  • Demand for new AML controls in 2020
  • 2020 retooling trade and transaction reporting
  • 2019 AI, Machine Learning and NLP in trade surveillance
  • Regulatory straight through processing (RegSTP)
  • The sectors’ plans for a RegTech Council

Throughout the day we will be discussing JWG’s latest research and polling the audience so that you can help shape the agenda.

Why this conference?

We are proud to say that over the past 3 years our Conference has continued to receive fantastic positive feedback, becoming a hallmark event featuring on such lists as Business Insider’s top global RegTech conferences.

With many big-name sponsors such as Hitachi, NICE Actimize, Synechron and many more there will be plenty to see on the stands and you will have time to talk to the experts about solving real problems better, faster and cheaper.

Today there are lots of places you can chat about RegTech, but JWG hosts the place for you to get a holistic understanding of what the right questions and who has the best answers.
